Amphibious Futures was conceived as a publication that mirrors the nature of fieldwork itself - fragmented, layered, iterative, and constantly evolving. Developed for CAAS Collective, the design draws from the visual language of notebooks rather than academic publishing, allowing photographs, sketches, handwritten reflections, and archival references to coexist on the page. A restrained typographic system and generous use of white space create clarity without imposing hierarchy, preserving the openness of collective inquiry. More than documenting research, the publication becomes part of the research process itself - a space where observation, speculation, and dialogue continue to unfold.

Presented at the Kochi Biennale 2025, the book exists as both a publication and a living archive of shared exploration.
