Kindling Pictures is a film production studio co-founded by Kiran Rao and Tanaji Dasgupta, dedicated to telling compelling cinematic stories. Our brief was to capture the studio’s storytelling philosophy and creative spark through a distinct logo, branding, and website design.

The visual identity is inspired by a Spark, the small flame that ignites the vast imagination of cinema. The branding plays with light, shadow, and minimalist typography to mimic the magic of a projector room. It acts as an open, adaptive canvas that lets the film imagery take center stage. Bold yet understated, the design serves as a steady anchor for artistic expression.
