Identity, Illustration & Packaging Design

Year: 2018

A branding and illustration project created for Malabar Café at Hyatt Kochi, inspired by the rich cultural, culinary, and visual heritage of Kerala. The design language drew from local stories, architecture, landscapes, folklore, and everyday life, translating these influences into a bespoke system of hand-crafted illustrations and patterns. Applied across branding, menus, print communication, and environmental graphics, the visual identity balanced tradition with a contemporary hospitality aesthetic, creating a distinctive and memorable experience that celebrated the spirit of the Malabar coast.
